Set technical direction and lead engineering capability across AWS cloud environments.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction, engineering standards and delivery approach for AWS cloud work.
- Guide architecture decisions across security, reliability, performance and operational requirements.
- Develop engineering teams through coaching, technical guidance and clear priorities.
- Work with commercial and customer stakeholders to connect technical plans with business needs.
Skills and experience
- Experience leading cloud engineering teams and complex AWS initiatives.
- Strong cloud architecture judgement and hands-on engineering credibility.
- Ability to develop people and establish consistent engineering practices.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders across technical and business functions.
