The role
Engineer, automate and support Azure infrastructure with a strong focus on AKS.
Key responsibilities
- Engineer, automate and support Azure cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on AKS.
- Design and maintain reliable, repeatable and secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and enhance Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Improve resilience, availability and performance through reliability engineering.
- Work with platform, engineering and reliability teams to improve automation and operational maturity.
- Solve platform challenges through engineering and automation, reducing manual and reactive operations.
Skills and experience
- Strong hands-on Azure cloud engineering experience.
- Deep AKS experience across platform build, administration, troubleshooting and optimisation.
- Strong Terraform, Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation capability.
- SRE, reliability engineering or platform engineering experience is highly desirable.
- Banking domain knowledge.
- Ability to guide a team and act as a lead or architect when required.
